What's the challenge with Africa's agriculture?
97% of Africa’s smallholder farmers rely on rain-fed agriculture for sustenance. They have limited access to modern irrigation systems and knowledge regarding optimal farming practices crucial for transitioning to sustainable, climate-resilient agriculture. This transition is crucial for maximizing productivity and building resilience against the impacts of climate change.
How are we solving the problem?
At Irri-Hub Ke, we are changing this narrative by facilitating access to simple innovative water management solutions. Our approach combines rainwater harvesting pans with solar-powered drip irrigation systems, bundled up with full-stack services such as agronomy support and training in regenerative agriculture best practices. Additionally, we provide them with a variety of complementary products like solar dryers and actively connect these farmers with partners who offer reliable markets for their agricultural produce. By providing these technologies along with end-to-end support, we empower these farmers with a smooth pathway to enhanced productivity and increased income.
We aim to reach 50,000 farmers by 2030 to revolutionize irrigation in Kenya.

Climate Change
Climate change’s negative impacts are already being felt, in the form of increasing temperatures, invasive crops and pests, and more frequent extreme weather events. On farms, climate change is reducing crop yields, the nutritional quality of major cereals, and lowering livestock productivity. Adaptation is not only the right thing to do, but the smartest!
Food Security
The number of people in the world affected by hunger continued to increase under the shadow of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is estimated that more than 800 million people in the world face hunger as of 2020. We need to produce about 70 percent more food by 2050 to feed an estimated 9 billion people
Clean Energy
Agriculture currently contributes 19–29% of total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Without action, that percentage could rise substantially as other sectors reduce their emissions Clean, renewable energy preserves the world’s natural resources and also reduce the risk of environmental disasters
Financial Inclusion
500 million smallholder farming households that represent 2.5 billion people rely on agricultural production for their livelihoods. Through the use of technologies such as blockchain, centralized exchange hubs could enable data to be stored and shared securely, and ultimately scale financial inclusion for smallholder farmers.

How much do you charge for pre-site survey?
We charge a fee of Ksh 3000/= for a basic site visit, inclusive of the technician’s round-trip bus fare to and from your farm. Notably, the cost of the site visit is refundable and will be deducted from the total project cost.
Where are you located?
We are located in Nairobi, Kilimani area in Ndemi road next to Dima driving school.
Do you have a branch in Kisumu?
No, we don’t have a branch in Kisumu but we extend our services to that region.
Do you provide agronomist services?
Yes, we offer expert agronomist services including soil testing, crop selection advice, and irrigation planning.
What components are included in the drip irrigation kit?
The components include driplines, main pipes, submain pipes, connectors and fittings, filtration system and fertigation system.
What determines the choice of damliner for my waterpan?
The choice of damliner depends on the soil type, water volume, and specific usage requirements of your waterpan.What type of damliner can i use if my waterpan surface is rough with sediments?
For rough surfaces with sediments, we recommend our heavy-duty damliners that are puncture-resistant and durable like 1mm type.How many plants can a greenhouse of 8m by 30m accommodate?
An 8m by 30m greenhouse can accommodate approximately 800-1000 plants, depending on the crop type and spacing.How many casuals do i need during installation period?
The number of casuals needed depends on the size of the installation. Typically, a team of 4-6 is sufficient for medium-sized projects.I want to see how the system works!

ISP solar pumps are energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and reduce daily operational costs.
Can the solar pump push water 2 kilometers away?
Yes, our high-capacity solar pumps are capable of transporting water up to 2 kilometers, depending on the model.
What does it mean by a solar pump system having a maximum head?
The maximum head refers to the highest vertical distance from the water source to the point of water discharge that the pump can achieve.
